At Hundo Labs, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how the hundo-dojo browser extension (also referred to as "TrueLearn Tools") collects, uses, stores, and handles your information.

To provide you with study statistics, customization options, and cloud synchronization, the extension processes the following categories of data:

• Study Activity and Performance Statistics: We capture details of your question attempts, including correct/incorrect statuses, chosen options, and question identifiers within the study portal.
• Study Content: The extension processes question text and explanations on your screen solely to facilitate flashcard generation (such as exporting to standard APKG or TSV format).
• User Highlights and Configurations: Custom highlighting patterns, notes, color preferences, and settings are processed to display overlays and render the sidebar properly.
• Authentication Information: If you choose to enable cloud synchronization, the extension collects authentication credentials (via Firebase Auth) to securely establish your session.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information exclusively to power and improve the extension’s core features, specifically to:

• Render the real-time statistics dashboard in your sidebar.
• Save and restore your custom study highlights.
• Generate and export flashcard decks to Anki format.
• Securely synchronize study metrics and highlights across your paired devices (when cloud sync is active).

3. Data Storage and Syncing

• Local Storage: By default, your stats, preferences, and highlights are stored locally on your device via standard extension storage APIs.
• Cloud Synchronization (Opt-In): If you sign up for cloud synchronization, your question history, highlights, and pairing preferences are securely transmitted to and stored on our Google Firebase and Firestore database instances.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We value your trust. We do **NOT** sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information, study activity, or website content with any third parties. Your data is used solely to provide the services requested through the extension.

5. Security

We implement standard security measures to protect your data. All communication between the extension and our cloud sync databases is encrypted in transit using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL/TLS) technology and encrypted at rest in our databases.

6. Data Control and Deletion

You are in control of your data. You can clear your active session statistics directly using the "Reset Session" feature inside the extension options menu. If you wish to delete your cloud sync data or close your account, please contact us at the support address below.
